At clrmedia.com, our primary focus is the provision of learning materials. We have been privileged to work extensively with people with developmental, physical and other learning disabilities and their families and caregivers. The impact of this work can be seen in most of our learning materials.

Beyond plain language. We encourage the use of audio in many of our computer-based learning applications. Plain language is important but, for individuals with reading problems or an auditory learning style, audio is crucial. We provide learners with the ability to switch between summary text, which some learners find less intimidating, and the full audio text, which allows learners to either read along with the audio or turn the audio off entirely.

Keep it neat and uncluttered. Our learning applications are intentionally neat and uncluttered, with everything on the screen there for a purpose. Text styles and colours ensure good contrast and key content is highlighted. Of course, everything is relative. Our high school science applications are more flamboyant than our hazardous materials training system.

Be succinct; stay focused. Be succinct, stay focused, express ideas clearly and avoid extraneous verbiage. Sound like a creative writing course? It should. Like a well crafted essay, our projects incorporate text that is easy to read, with points that flow logically and address specific topics.
